ColdFusion NEQ Cold Fusion
ColdFusionI notice a lot of Google searches where the user has searched for something related to "Cold Fusion" but really are looking for info on a ColdFusion topic. For some reason it annoys me, so here is my message.
It's spelled "ColdFusion" people!!! (you know who you are)

ColdFusion is an application server and software development framework used for the development of computer software in general, and dynamic web sites in particular. In this regard, ColdFusion is a similar product to ASP.NET or Java Enterprise Edition.
Cold Fusion is a theoretical fusion reaction that occurs near room temperature and pressure using relatively simple devices. In nuclear fusion, multiple nuclei are forced to join together to form a heavier nucleus, and during that process, energy is released. The only known method of fusion that releases significant energy is the thermonuclear reaction, where temperatures and pressures are tremendous and must be contained within an as-yet technologically impractical fusion reactor - or be released, as by a fusion bomb.
I directed her to macromedia.com and I could hear an audible gasp on the other end of the phone. You mean I was throwing away all the best candidates resumes? I said yes and that was the last time I ever heard from her<;).
The application server from *Allaire* was named Cold Fusion. It was renamed to ColdFusion way before it ever reached Adobe.
Perhaps I should have said:
"In defense of half the world, the application server now owned by Adobe was named "Cold Fusion" (with a space) for the first three renditions."
The name change is an event that happened in the 'life' of ColdFusion. In early renditions the name used a space, and that legacy is now Adobe's.
