Social Networking EQ Good
ColdFusion
Not sure if anyone has noticed, but there are a few social networking web sites out there that are kinda growing in membership (deliberate understatement).
I don't want to get into the implications of what that means to our ability, as a society, to actual interact with other people in person (I know, who wants to actually meet face-to-face?) but I do think it is a great thing for us as web developers...the more people surfing/chatting/blogging/LIVING on the web, the better.
I personally don't have a MySpace page (Am I the last one?), but I have noticed people that would normally be afraid to do anything adventurous on the web, actively blogging, uploading pics, skinning sites, etc.
Another pretty neat implementation of this idea, is the the business/professional social networking sites like LinkedIn.
Wikipedia has a large list of networking sites and their membership stats (not sure how current).

- If you do participate in a networking site, what are some of the key features you enjoy?
- What would you like to see in a networking site?
- What is annoying about your particular service?
